The Zambia Development Agency (ZDA) and the Luapula Provincial Administration have intensified preparations for the 2026 Luapula Investment Expo, signaling strong momentum toward delivering a transformative investment platform for the province.

Luapula Province Minister, Eng. Nasson Musonda paid a courtesy call on ZDA Director General, Albert Halwampa, to consolidate a strategic roadmap aimed at positioning Luapula Province as a competitive destination for investment, trade, and sustainable economic growth.

Mr. Halwampa reaffirmed ZDA’s commitment to identifying and packaging bankable projects that will generate meaningful employment and accelerate industrialisation in the province.

He emphasized the Agency’s full support in ensuring the Expo effectively showcases Luapula’s vast potential across priority sectors, including agriculture, energy, tourism, fisheries, and mineral development.

Eng. Musonda expressed confidence in the progress made so far, noting that Luapula is ready and that preparations are steadily gaining momentum.

He underscored that the Expo presents a critical opportunity to unlock new economic prospects and elevate the province’s investment profile.

He added that the Provincial Administration remains fully committed to working closely with ZDA and other key stakeholders to deliver a high-impact event capable of attracting both local and international investors.
